The Devil and Tom Walker

I can infer that Tom Walker was a selfish man. He doesn't care about his wife or anyone else.Tom was hard minded fellow not easily daunted meaning that he not afraid of anything I know this because the author directly told me. Tom also didn't care about his wife he was a very selfish man for instance when his wife went to meet Old Snatch and she took some of the belonging he didn't care about the fact he couldn't find her he just wanted the things back.
I can infer Tom Walker wife was loud and had a bad temper she get fired up quick . In know this because the author indirectly told me. Tall termagant,fierce of temper loud of tongue and strong arm describing her a strong women kinda like a man. She was also a gold digger she really didn't care to much for her husband either. When Tom told his wife about the deal with old snatch and how he really didn't want to she was just thinking about her self and how rich the was going to be. Since he didn't do it she went along he wanted to do it herself and make the deal with him.
Old Snatch I can infer that he was the devil because the author indirectly told me. He gave me details of imagery of how he looked he had red eyes which means to me some type of evil. Old Snatch would cut down tress for every soul he would take. When he left from Tom house he pressed his thumb on Tom forehead leaving a burn mark witch he didn't feel. As Old Snatch was leaving Tom place. Tom watched him walk away and it seem like he was going down and down as in he was going into the earth what does that tell you he not an ordinary kind of guy hes the devil.


In The Devil and Tom Walker I believe the theme is Greed.How people some people in the world would do anything for some money or to be rich. For example Tom would have to give his soul up to Old Snatch just to get some money he didn't want to be but his wife did she didn't care what it take she just wanted the money shows that shes greedy.

Mary Phillips Dress Code

I have mixed feelings about the Mary E Phillips dress code. One thing that I do like about the dress code is that there not that strict about what type of shoes you wear as long as there not a solid red or flip flop I can deal with that because it’s starting to be cold and I can wear my boots. One thing that I absolutely hate is the color shirts we have to wear ugh I hate the three colors  and solid at that I mean it’s not a bad color but most of my shirt that white black or grey have some type of design. Pants wise I don’t have a problem with because it khaki color goes with any type of color.

            Shoes is like the one thing that I can agree cause I sure a lot of people have all type of shoes that can go with what we have to wear. I agree with them about not wear flip flops cause those are easy for people to step on your feet. Another thing is you can trip on your own feet and I don’t think flip flop are appropriate for school any way more like sandals.

            Now let me talk about the rule about the shirts it’s very hard to find just plain black white or grey shirts now and day. Most of the shirts are all black with some type of design or have letters on them I have some of those at home myself. I think that they should let the rule loose like let us wear shirts with design on them just not anything with curse words or like those weed plants. 

            Khaki pants are very hard to find defiantly in my size. I’m a tall person with a little booty. One thing I do like is how they make my shape come out that might sound a little awkward but it’s true I’m just being honest. I do like how Khaki comes in different color like there light color there dark color. Then you can buy them as shorts or as long pants some even come in comperes.

            The Mary E Phillips gives me miss emotion about the dress code. Then again it’s not all about what you wear who got the most shoes or who dress better the whole purpose of us coming to school is to learn it’s not a fashion show. Sometimes I think that’s the problem people are worried about what other people have on and how much they spend on it instead of what they going to get on their next test grade.       

Theme

In Dora The Explore I feel like the theme was no matter what you can do it. The way I see it the author was trying to tell young people no matter how hard this may get never give up and always believe in your self. Even when this may come in your way. Like when swipper the fox will every now and then get into Dora and Boots. They will move him away and the keep forward. It taught me a lot when I was younger the author purpose and moral was good I know it help me.
